The Fault In Our Stars.

This one is for Augustus and Hazel- because you gave me forever within the numbered days and I’m grateful.

She said,
Living is a side-effect of dying
And pain demands to be felt
You leave me forever crying
Demanding to be held.

He said,
I am in love with you, Hazel Grace,
And it’s the nature of stars to cross
Life with a harmatia is bittersweet to taste
To not outlive you is my greatest loss.

Of Amsterdam and last wishes
Swing-sets and the Heart of Jesus
Unsmoked cigarettes and speeding cars
Nothing but the fault in our stars

Your unfathomable thoughts; making love in May
Living in the moment, laughing at the way we are
Because you gave me a forever within the numbered days
And it’s nothing but the fault in our stars

Day Five: An Original Inspired by The Fault in our stars by John Green.

I know this isn’t half as good as the others, but I kind of wrote it with a tune in my head. But anyway, let me know what you think.

About TheBlackWallflower

I'm just your average unique person. I love to read and write (no surprises there, eh?) and think a lot. I adore Rowling and think Harry Potter should be a religion. I also hate pink. I love fluff generally because it makes me feel intelligent and I love poetry because it makes me feel different. (yes, references.) I'm married to Sirius Black. So I sign myself as The Bitch alarmingly often. Oh, and I love Mr. Darcy. And Jo Longo. And Chandler Bing. And Sherlock. (Yes, I'm a fantard.) And in case you want to drop in a good, or a critical word, feel free to email me: OR, follow me on Twitter: @WallflowerBlack Enough with the babble. OkBye. View all posts by TheBlackWallflower
